What’s With the Weather?

Burrrrr Humbug, what’s going on with the weather? All of a sudden it sure got cold. Our normal routine has been to have our breakfast or dinner and then we get a whiff of fresh air at either the doors or windows. Brother Ivan seems to like the door whiffin’ and so does my sister Sascha, I tend to prefer the window whiffin’. This morning after we had our breakfast brother Ivan insisted on his routine door whiff while I was cleaning up what was left in his bowl. Weeee Ohhhhh! That only lasted for about 20 seconds and brother Ivan said enough already. It was so much colder that I didn’t even ask for my normal window whiff, I knew better, burrrrr! Then along came sister Sascha. Since she didn’t have the benefit of feeling how cold it was like I did, she had to ask too. Dad didn’t give her too much of a door whiff because he didn’t want her to get too cold, but I think that silly Sascha would have sat there a lot longer if Dad would have let her. It started getting colder last night. Sascha must have been cold too, she didn’t sleep upstairs last night, she slept on the bed in between Mom and Dad’s pillows. We never sleep in that spot so it’s OK with me. I’m partial to the big pink chair by the furnace register and Ivan is partial to the foot of the bed or his own bed over by the check of drawers. I’m still tempted to chase sister Sascha but I’m trying my best to be on good behavior. Oh wait a minute, Mom and Dad went somewhere, bet Sascha needs some company. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr!
