I’ve Been Busy Mom

Mom is missing again! I saw that big gray box with the handle out again yesterday morning and sure enough Mom’s not here. I know there is something about that big gray box with a handle that has something to do with it, really! Anyways, she’s not here. Dad said that she went to visit her Mommy someplace really cold with lots of snow. I don’t know what snow is, but brother Ivan sure does and he doesn’t like to talk about it much. You see, several years ago when he was a kitten someone put him out in the middle of a winter storm with ice and snow. I’ll have to take his word for it but he says neither one is very pleasant. The big gray box with a handle is pretty big or else I would try and hide it so she couldn’t go anywhere.

Dad spent some time in the bathroom again yesterday, he was using something that made a lot of noise and looks like it put some small holes in the walls. Wonder why he would do that? Then he put some kind of blue tape all along the walls. Not very pretty but he said it’s part of his plan. From the looks of the things he has sitting out I would guess that he will be in the bathroom with the door shut again any time now. I can tell, there is always a bunch of stuff that looks like it would be fun to play with, and then he shuts the door. I better snoop around before I get shut out of the bathroom again. Sure miss Mom though. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

Dad’s At It Again

Dad was at it again! He spent all day today in the bathroom working on the walls in there. He came out quite often though, I supposed just to check and see how we were doing. Poor sister Sascha seem really confused by the whole thing. Every time Dad came out to take a break from whatever he was doing sister Sascha came running to greet him like he had be gone or something. I tried to tell her that he was just in the bathroom and that she didn’t have to run and greet him every time he came out. Sascha told me that is was fun because every time Dad came out he stopped and petted her. Pretty smart huh? I tried it too and she was right, it worked like a charm. When Dad was finally done I went in to take a look around, but I really didn’t see anything that looked different. Dad said he was sanding the wall, but I still don’t know what that means. Oh well, I’ll work on figuring that out. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

Let’s Start Early

This was one of those mornings when we were just meant to get into trouble. Well, actually “we” is mostly me, but everyone else helped. I can’t help it if I can’t sleep and was wide awake ready to rock n’ roll at 4:00 in the morning. I started rattling things, and batting things, running across the bed (OOPS!) and running up and down the stairs. Then brother Ivan joined in, then sister Sascha came to see what was going on and I chased her, I couldn’t help it…really. Then sister Sascha chased me, then brother Ivan chased sister Sascha. Now that’s what I call some serious fun. I don’t think Mom and Dad were too happy with the schedule of events though. Oh well, we were having fun. Sister Sascha and I went to play in the closet for a while so brother Ivan could have a little bit of of break. Even though Ivan was up, I don’t think he was too interested in playing…but he did anyways. He was more interested in asking Mom to open the window so he did his normal routine to make sure Mom knew what he wanted. Hey, where did everybody go? I’d better go check and see what’s going on. Remember, adopt cats, we’re fun! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

Monday Musings

The weekend is over, and it sure was a busy one too.  Dad chased us around the house with the vacuum cleaner again on Saturday.  He never did catch us though.  Mom when shopping and came back with lots and lots of plastic bags, some of them even has food for us in them.  Then Mom did this really weird thing, she started taking down some clothes that were hanging up in the laundry room and layed them on a folding tall table and started pushing down on them with a small silver triangle thing.  I really don’t understand what she was doing and she didn’t look like she was having much fun.  Dad was back in the bathroom on Sunday and he had the door shut again.  There was an awful buzzing noise coming from in there and I was really worried that something got Dad.  But when he came out he was all dusty and white.  I don’t know what got a hold of him but he looked awful.  The worst part was having the bathroom door shut that long.  I don’t like that at all, how am I supposed to know what’s going on?  Have a great day everyone, and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!  Purrrr!  Zip!  Later!

T.G.I.F.

It’s been kind of quiet around the house today. Friday is a good day though because the weekend is coming Mom and Dad usually get to spend a good bit of time with us, and we love that! Speaking of Mom, that big gray box with the handle on it came out again and Mom is missing. Every time that big gray box with the handle comes out either Mom or Dad end up missing for a while. I can’t figure out how they fit in that thing anyways and where they put it so I can’t find it. This time I tried to get in it to see where it ends up but Mom had it closed so that didn’t do any good at all. The only thing that isn’t good about the weekends is that Dad usually gets that vacuum thing out and chases us around the house. Truthfully, brother Ivan could care less and I’m sort of used to it, but sister Sascha still goes and hides under the bed up stairs. I can’t wait for that big gray box with the handle to show up because we all miss Mom. Gonna go catch a nap or two, have a great weekend and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it! Purrrr! Zip! Later!

Always Something to Worry Me

In Memory of Charley
The Best Dog in Adams Run

OK, so call me a worry wort, but something else is wrong in the backyard. No, the squirrels are still around and running back and forth and up and down the trees as usual. You see, the problem is that the trees are getting sick. No, really they are. First their leaves started turning all kind of colors and now their leaves are starting to fall off. Really, I think the trees must really be sick. The leaves are everywhere!!! Now I admit, I’m not a tree expert, but I have been watching the birds in the trees and the squirrels in the trees for quite some time and there has never been anything strange wrong with my trees until now. Maybe I should ask Dad to go outside and see if he could put the leaves back on the trees. No, maybe not, he’s still fussing at the walls in the bathroom. Boy, if I only spoke squirrel I could ask one of them if they knew what the problem is. It’s actually worse than I thought. I just took a peek out the front window and the neighbors trees are sick too, they’ve got naked trees! Guess I’ll worry about it later…right now it’s time for a snack.
